Varsity Voices 2010 - Celebrating 30 Years and Beyond...

A celebratory concert of choral excellence, The NUSChoir will be showcasing an exciting range of repertoire from traditional sacred music to contemporary folklore arrangements.

Varsity Voices 2010 will also feature songs from the yesteryears, dating back to its early humble beginnings in 1980, to the pride of choral achievements in the new millennium.

The NUSChoir welcomes you aboard to embark on an exciting choral journey that will revisit the past and embrace the future beyond...

The NUSChoir Auditions for Semester II 2009/2010

Dear all, The NUSChoir will be conducting a second round of auditions for Academic Year 2009/2010

Details are as follows :
11th January 2010 :: 6.00pm - 8.00pm
14th January 2010 :: 6.00pm - 6.50pm

Interested and prospective choristers are invited to try out for our auditions.

Kindly email Gabriel at gabrielcheow@nuschoir.org, stating your prefered timeslot.

Allocation of audition times will be done on a first come first serve basis.

The NUSChoir Caroling Season 2009!

The NUSChoir will be caroling from 12th December all the way to Christmas!

Do come down and celebrate the festive season with us.

JCI2009 - Junior College Invitationals 2009

Update : Due to unforeseen circumstances, JCI 2009 had to be canceled.

This event is a new initiative to reach out and bring together choristers from various pre-university institutions who are inclined in further honing their choral expertise and talents upon graduating from their respective institutions.

Event details are as follows :
Date : 10th December 2009, Thursday
Time : 2pm - 6pm
Venue : NUS Centre For the Arts Studios, Kent Ridge Campus,
National University of Singapore

The programme of the JCI2009 includes an introduction of The NUSChoir to prospective choristers, vocal workshop and masterclass, interaction with fellow choristers and finale showcase performance by the participants of JCI2009.

Selected participants of the JCI2009 will be invited to be part of The NUSChoir Christmas Caroling 2009, which will happen on the 14th to 25th December 2009. We will be caroling at various hotels and shopping centers, and this will be a great opportunity for the choristers to gain exposure in a different performance setting whilst contributing to the festive mood of Christmas!

Calling all Alumni!

The NUSChoir would like to invite you back to join us for a fun time of spreading Christmas cheer at various reputable hotels and shopping galleries! Get geared up and gather your friends!

Audition Results are OUT!

We thank all of you who came to try out for the auditions. Well, the results are up in our forum under the topic "Audition Results".
Congratulations to those who made it through! And for those who did not, we welcome you to try again next year. Additionally, in the coming months, we will be putting up a section to guide and teach the public what choral singing is about and how one can improve in it.
