The NUSChoir, a five-time category winner in international competitions with perfect scores from Festa Choralis Bratislava 2010 in Jazz and Open Mixed, proudly present yet another fruitful year with our latest performance, A Musical Tapestry, which is our Varsity Voices 2011.
Please join us in a night of music as The NUSChoir weaves together melodies from the East and West to bring you a breathtaking musical tapestry. We will be performing world premieres of Asian pieces by Zechariah Goh, Darius Lim and Ivan Yohan, and also songs like Sure on This Shining Night (Morten Lauridsen), Kalinda (Sydney Guilaume), and Ave Maria (Vytautas Miskinis). Don''t miss it!
A Musical Tapestry will be happening on Sunday, 20th March, at 8pm in the NUS University Cultural Center Hall. Tickets are sold at $16 and $19 (excluding SISTIC fees).
It's the start of a new semester again, and this time we're welcoming the 2010/11 batch of freshmen with a great big hug!

Well, for starters, we'll be at the Matriculation Fair that happens on the 22nd till 27th of July. So if you're even the slightest bit interested with singing, please do come over to our booth then!

The NUSChoir has achieved the following results for both Categories it competed in Festa Choralis Bratislava 2010:

This victory belongs not just to the 27 singers who sang for the competition but to all in The NUSChoir family!

A celebratory concert of choral excellence, the NUSChoir will be showcasing an exciting range of repertoire from traditional sacred music to contemporary folklore arrangements.
Varsity Voices 2010 will also feature songs from yesteryear, from the choir's humble beginnings in 1980s, to the pride of choral achievements in the new millennium.
We welcome you to join us aboard as we embark upon an exciting choral journey that will revisit the past and embrace the future beyond!
